Cicadeath...

I'm taking a trunkload of these fuckers back to Michigan with me. I forgot how much cicadas rock.

If you bring them back, you can cook them. If you only had a Trader Joe's in East Lansing, you could pick up a Hot Cicada Rub and fry em up. The internets say that the best way to eat cicadas is to collect them in the middle of the night as they emerge from their burrows and before their skins harden. When they are in this condition—like soft-shell crabs—they can be boiled for about a minute. It is said they taste like asparagus or clam-flavored potato. I don't know why "old man" doesn't already know this.

BTW, I had bkfst at Max and Benny's this morning.

I took a bike ride up on the north side this weekend and when I took my helmet off... four cicadas were hanging on. Good times! But, the sound is what gets me... riding through a Hitchcock Soundtrack. Felt like I was 24 again.. or 7. Good memories. We literally moved to Chicago during the an eruption. Some welcome committee! Did they affect your golf game?
