VOTE EARLY, VOTE OFTEN!

Please vote for Crabbydad's song at Quickstop Entertainment's Song Fu contest:

Vote for Crabbydad

I've gotta make it to Round 2 -- it's the only thing that's gonna get me through this shitball of a winter alive. Seriously.

VOTE!

Oh, and if you can tell 900 or so friends to do the same, that would be most helpful. Thanks.

You've got my vote CD. In fact, I liked your tune better than any of the 3 "masters." Well done.

I voted for ya crabs!

I had a good laugh at some of the other musicians on the site: the "folk/noise" guy from Halifax, Rusty's Rockin Jamboreee...oh my.

My loyalty to the crabman is proven by resisting my desire to vote for the guy from the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band.

Thanks, Matt. But don't tease the masters... then you're just being a master-baiter.

And thanks for resisting the dog doo... dah, Seizure. Now the only question is 'how does one defeat the ukulele girl with the youtube fan-base?' Maybe I should grease up the ol' ukulele. (not a euphemism)

OK...after listening to the competition (cough). I think you (And Miss O) have it in the bag. The only other song I could listen to all the way through was Mr. Rutles. And to be honest, I think you'll be fine against him. I mean, seriously how many 'hey that sounds like a Beatles song, but I just can't put my finger on it' songs can he pull out of his...well, something that you pull songs out of?

I voted for ya! The song is great. But I have to say, that if you have to lose, losing to Neil Innes is the way to go down.

Happy HAPPY!

Yay Todd and Kim! Thanks for the votes! Personally, while I LURVE Neil Innes, and I really like his submission, I kinda think he just entered an old song he had done previously. I don't see how it fits the challenge... but I can be dumb, so who knows. Perhaps not me.

But ukulele girl kinda seems unstoppable at this point. Curse her and her four-stringed youthiness!

No problem, CD!

I just can't figure out how ukulele girl does it. Miss O. is a WAY better. The only thing I can figure is the sample of Mr. T at the end is what's pushing her over the top. Damn Mr. T and his A-Team-y goodness!!

Voted, twice (just like the presidential election) -at work and home.

Thanks, Nora. Now if you can only get some distant deceased relatives to vote, you'll be an honorary Chicagoan.
